We believe that Sustainability and ownership of development interventions by communities is possible only after organizing and empower the vulnerable groups through community mobilization and encourage them to utilize the available resources. Jharkhand is the land of forest, well known as black diamond and cheap labour. The availability of natural and human resources should be utilized properly. The resources Jal, Jamin, Jangal, Janwar (Water, Land, forest and animal) are found in abundance with the tribal/ indigenous people of Jharkhand, despite that they remains among the most marginalized and vulnerable groups as they have been largely excluded from the mainstream development procedure.
So we work for social transformation build their capacity encourage them to identify and prioritize their needs , objectives, develop confidence to mobilizing resources through groups, cooperative, collaborative attitude, practices and community participation. So Community Mobilization is the process of bringing together or empowering members of the community from various sectors to raise awareness on and demand for a particular development program. It facilitates change and transformation in the development taking into account the felt needs of the community and thus leads to community organization. Also, it is the process of engaging communities to identify community priorities, resources, needs and solutions in such a way as to promote representative participation, good governance, accountability and peaceful change. It requires many analytical and supportive resources which are internal (inside community) and external (outside Community) as well, the resources such as Leadership, Organizational capacity, Communications channels, Assessments, Problem solving; Resource mobilization, Administrative and operational management. Thus the community mobilization has been proved to be a valuable and effective concept which has various implications in dealing with basic problems like health and hygiene, population, pollution and gender bias.
